Are you planning a spring wedding?

September 20, 2014

With spring well and truly here you may be inspired to set the date for your special day in the middle of this season. Here are some ideas that will make your spring wedding your own:

Add an embellishment to your hair

Keep yourself cool in the warmer months and wear a light and floaty hair style. A low and loose bun with a side-swept fringe is a lovely choice. If you want to add a little something extra, a few small braids or soft waves will do the trick.

Take your look to the next level with a well chosen wedding hair accessory. An embellished floral hair comb is a simple and easy way to embrace spring and look chic and elegant.

Think light and floral decor

Your decor is a great way you can showcase what is great about spring. Hang paper lanterns and paper flowers in a range of colours, or find some dainty bird cages and fill them with candles or fairy lights.

Choose a venue with an outdoor space

Make the most of the fresh days and blooming life and have your wedding outside! Your ceremony could take place in a forest beneath an arch adorned with flowers and vines.

Alternatively, if you want a more traditional ceremony, you could set up a dance floor outdoors so you can dance the night away under the stars.

When planning on having your wedding outside, it's important to have a back up plan and prepare for the weather to change. It's also good to be aware of the fact that there will be more bugs outside and it can get very hot. Providing scent-free insect repellant, sunscreen and lots of ice-cold beverages will go a long way to keep your guests happy.
